Tra poche ore prenderĂ  il via Spantik Lab 2026, la nuova missione scientifica di EvK2CNR nel Karakorum pakistano.

Cosa faranno i ricercatori sul ghiacciaio Chogo Lungma? Quali strumenti verranno installati? Chi sono gli scienziati e le Guide Alpine che lavoreranno in alta quota? E perché questa ricerca è così importante per comprendere gli effetti del cambiamento climatico e la futura disponibilità delle risorse idriche?

In just a few hours, the Spantik Lab 2026 scientific mission will depart for Pakistan.

What will researchers do on the Chogo Lungma Glacier? Which scientific instruments will be installed? Who are the scientists and mountain guides taking part in the expedition? And why is this research so important for understanding climate change and protecting water resources?

To answer these questions, we have created a dedicated visual journey introducing the mission, its objectives, its timeline and the team that will spend the coming weeks working in one of the world's highest mountain ranges.
