Geneva, EvK2Cnr and High Elevations at the Ceop Annual Meeting
GENEVA, Switzerland – It’s just started in Geneva the CEOP International Implementation Planning Meeting, held on 15-17 September 2008 and hosted by the WCRP Secretariat at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Headquarters building. During the meeting, EvK2Cnr Committee will play a chief role in the session on High Elevations initiative.

Sagarmatha National Park: new activities and new challenges for Ev-K2-Cnr
An exceptional number of researchers will be engaged in baseline studies and capacity building activities in the Sagarmatha National Park in September-October, 2007. The researchers, coordinated by Ev-K2-CNR, come mostly from Nepalese research centers and universities, such as the Tribhuvan University, founded in 1959 AD, the first university and the pioneer institute of higher education in Nepal, the Kathmandu University, a more recent public institution dedicated to maintain high standards of academic excellence, and Resources Himalaya, research institute operating as an independent think-tank on biodiversity conservation in the Himalaya region.
HKKH Partnership Project presented at the 4th Asia Regional Conservation Forum
From September 22 to September 27, 2007,The World Conservation Union (IUCN) hosted at the Hyatt Hotel in Kathmandu the 4th Asia Regional Conservation Forum. It's an international conference on environment and sustainable development held every four years in different places.
