24-07-2006 Urdukas and Askole, a successful pair
 URDUKAS, Pakistan -- The news is certain. The Automatic Weather Station of SHARE, at Urdukas (4000m u.l.s), has worked, through out the entire winter and spring, just like the other station at Askole. The news was communicated to us by Giampietro Verza, the Ev-K²-CNR data acquisition stations manager, directly from the Baltisan Glacier.

The second calibration campaign at Everest-Pyramid station
BOLOGNA -- After the installation of the Everest-Pyramid ABC-GAW Station at 5079 m asl, along the Khumbu Valley, in February 2006, the station is quite automatically running. A technical check of instruments and quality assurance of data are guaranteed by remote access of every instrument and acquisition system (from Italy and France), but also thanks to Nepalese staff present 365 days per year at Pyramid Laboratory.

WASHINGTON, Usa -- The section related to high altitude areas (High Elevation – HE) has been officially introduced in the CEOP Phase II. The Ev-K²-CNR Scientific Board President and SHARE Project Coordinator, Dr. Gianni Tartari, came back from Washington, where he recently participated to the International Implementation Planning Meeting CEOP/IGWCO.

WASHINGTON, Usa -- The Planning Meeting joint session CEOP/IGWCO, which will involve a large number of worldwide climate and atmosphere experts this week at the National Academy of Sciences of Washingtonis underway. Dr. Gianni Tartari, Ev-K²-CNR Committee, and Alessandro Perotto, CEM (Epson Meteo Centre), will attend a meeting.
08-03-07 Ev-K²-CNR collaborates to ABC Project
 BERGAMO, Italy -- The collaboration between the Ev-K²-CNR Committee and the Project “Atmospheric Brown Clouds� (ABC) of the United Nation Environmental Programme (UNEP) will be extended for the Phase II (2008-2012). The Ev-K²-CNR president, Agostino Da Polenza, has received the official announcement today.
14-02-07 CEOP station of Lukla is operative
LUKLA, Nepal -- The CEOP Station of Lukla, in the Khumbu valley is operative. Giampietro Verza, Ev-K²-CNR technician stations, has given us the good news directly from the Nepal today. The CEOP monitoring net stations, represents the first in the SHARE project, the technological challenge of Ev-K²-CNR about climatic monitoring at high altitude.
