Funding

The Ev-K²-CNR Committee promotes different types of cooperation projects:

Solidarity projects, in collaboration with non profit organizations working in the social sector
Development Cooperation projects, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with Italian and international private and public organizations.

Funding for the projects are provided by two primary sources:

Private contributions

Voluntary donations – private companies, organizations or individuals can make donations to the bank account: “una quota per l’alta quota�? (“High hope for the high altitudes�?)
Fundraising initiatives - Ev-K²-CNR and other organizations periodically organize events, jumble sales and competitions

Public contributions

Voluntary donations – local authorities and public administrations can make donations to the bank account: “una quota per l’alta quota�? (“High hope for the high altitudes�?)
Decentralized cooperation – Italian local authorities (Regions, Provinces, Municipalities, Mountain Communities) who wants to commit themselves to cooperation projects for sustainable development in the Hindu-Kush-Himalaya-Karakorum, can request the assistance of the Ev-K²-CNR Committee in defining or carrying out their projects.
