High altitude aqueducts
A project for the construction of aqueducts for high altitude villages along the access route to K2. These interventions aim at providing drinking water and improving the sanitation for the local people.

"Amici di Lorenzo" Association

A project for improving health conditions of the people living around Askole (Pakistan).
In the Karakorum region, medical assistance is almost nonexistent and 30% of children die before the age of one due to intestinal and pulmonary diseases.

Training course in Rescue Techniques for Sherpa Guides
A project for training Sherpa Guides in high altitude/mountaineering Rescue Techniques. The course is conducted by Italian Alpine Guides (instructors) and doctors working with Pyramid Laboratory-Observatory (Nepal, 5.050 m.s.l.m., Lobuche)

Sponsorship of Sherpa orphans

A project for supporting the children of Sherpas who have died during mountaineering expeditions. It is a moral and financial commitment that assures these children will be enrolled in good private boarding schools and finish their compulsory education.

Renovation of Deboche Buddhist convent

A project for the renovation of the Deboche convent in Sagarmatha National Park (Nepal). The convent is situated at an altitude of 3,820m and hosts about 15 nuns.

Renovation of the Thaktsen Rabgyal Ling monastery
The project is aimed at the conservation of the local culture and artistic patrimony by renovating the monastery of Thaktsen Rabgyal Ling, situated in the Phoksumdo area in Dolpo (Nepal) at an altitude of 3.200 m a.s.l.

Thsome Hospital

A project for the support and expansion of the Tshome Hospital (4,800m). The hospital offers health care for the mostly nomadic people of the area.

Nepal – An ambulance for the Highway Emergency Hospital
As part of a five-year cooperation project (1996-2001) between Ev-K²-CNR Committee and the NGO Himalayan Research for Science and Technology, an ambulance was purchased for the Highway Emergency Hospital located in the Dhading District (Nepal).
