It's online the video telling the first phase of the Research program carried out by the team of the Prof. Minetti in Namche Bazar and Lobuche- Pyramid Laboratory.
In the framework of the activities carried out by the Ev-K²-CNR researchers this current autumn in Nepal in the Laboratory Pyramid, the equipe coordinated by the Prof. Minetti of the Institute for Biophysical ant Clinical Research into Human Movement implemented its evaluation project “Mechanics and energetic of loaded walking on gradients: management of resources in extreme conditions".
The objective was to operate a comparison between the behaviours OF Caucasian subjects (the other researchers) and local porters, in order to evaluate their different reactions and locomotor choices during the way uphill, both in terms of oxygen availability and additional loading.

Now online the video clip on the first tests done at the end of September in Namche Bazar: the study concerned observation, monitoring, as well as other examinations on “sample� subjects who completed a route with variable slopes on a rise of 100 m, carrying up weights varying from 20 to 60 kilos.
